CMC commenced its initial contract with the Ulster County [New York] Law Enforcement Center (original ADP of 250) on February 4, 2002. In August, 2002, CMC incorporated the former County-operated mental health program into its full-service health care program. Initially a three-year contract, CMC has renewed this contract with Ulster County, extending it for two additional years to January 31, 2008. During this time, Ulster County has built and will open on December 2, 2006 a new jail, resulting in an increase in average population to 315.
CMC is also currently providing services at the Montgomery County [Pennsylvania] Correctional Facility (ADP of 1700). The initial contract commenced on August 8, 2002 for a three-year term. At the expiration of that term, CMC won a competitive rebid and the subsequent contract is valid until January 7, 2010. During the term of this new contract, Montgomery County's average daily population is expected to rise to 1600 beds.
On June 15, 2005, CMC began a contract to deliver health care services at the Pyramid Reception Center in the Bronx, New York under the auspices of the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). The contract commenced is for a one-year term with four optional one-year renewals that could extend this contract until June 14, 2010. The OCFS has already executed the first of these optional renewals. The Pyramid Reception Center is a juvenile intake facility requiring receiving screenings and provision of general health care services to youths prior to their assignment to long-term facilities.
CMC began to deliver health care services at the Broome County Correctional Facility in Binghamton, New York (ADP 405) on January 1, 2006 for a one-year term with four optional one-year renewals that could extend this contract until December 31, 2010. Broome County has already executed the first of these renewals. As part of this contract, CMC transitioned mental health services from a County-run program and assimilated it into its full-service health care program.
CMC also delivers health care services to the Bristol County Correctional Facilities in Massachusetts (ADP 1550) and to the Dutchess County Jail in New York (ADP 310). The Bristol County contract commenced on December 6, 2006 and is a three‑year contract valid until December 2009. The Dutchess County contract began May 1, 2007 for a one-year initial term with four optional one‑year renewals. Both are full‑service, comprehensive health care programs.
Most recently, CMC has been selected to provide medical health services to two New York facilities: the Schenectady County Correctional Facility (ADP approximately 350) and the Tioga County Jail. CMC began providing these services on January 1, 2008. Under these contracts, CMC is responsible for the provision of medical, pharmaceutical and on‑site services to the Correctional Facility.
CMC has also recently been selected by Monroe County (New York) and will begin providing health care services on April 1, 2008. This comprehensive health care program will include both medical and mental health services and also includes converting the facilities to an integrated Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
